In 1998 I had a dream about becoming a captain on a Cruise Ship. So I started laying the ground work, what I had to do to make this happen. I started college while holding down a full-time job at Northwest Airlines. Everyday I woke up, I had this image fixed in my mind, wearing a captains suit. It was so that it became a part of my everyday thinking. I did not share my dreams with anyone at work, primarily because, I did not want anyone to know that I would soon be leaving my job at Northwest Airlines after 20 years of service.
Anyway one day at the gate area, I was behind the podium doing some paperwork. A female janitor responsible for cleaning the gate areas of the airport, walked up to me and said, "Excuse me sir, I had a dream about you," I immediately thought "What is this?" and I gave her a look like in disbelief. Reading my facial expression she continued, "No really, my dream was that my daughter and I were on this cruise ship and we were outside walking towards the bow of the ship. And standing at the bow of this ship, was this man in white uniform with a captain's hat facing the water, which appeared to be one of the crew members of the ship. As he turned around my daughter pulls my arm and said,'Look, Mom, this man used to work at the airport.'"I could not believe what I was hearing.
How is that possible that a complete stranger picked up on my dream and was able to share some future event with me in the present? This experience led me into the study of Quantum Mechanics. Is it possible that Past,Present and Future is all one?
In other words, what w e do now this instant affects future events. So is it possible also that the future is constantly rewriting itself, based on how we are thinking every moment. This nevertheless was a powerful experience for me. I wanted to share this with you. And thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us. You are a very beautiful person.
